This is an illustration for the delightful book You’re Beautiful When, written by Stefanie Fields and available in November 2016 through Amazon. The book encourages the reader to find beauty blossoming in the simple things. Creating the illustrations for this book was an absolute delight for me as I tried to capture the concept for each character.

Raised primarily in San Antonio, Texas, Phyllis Howard arrived in the Pacific Northwest in 2002 and currently lives in Burlington, Washington.
