Artist's Description
This is a mixed media piece inspired by my art group's challenge for "raining cats and dogs." Since I'm enjoying textured work I created my own stencil after coming up with the stylized pets to lay in texture medium. The outside edge is created using corrugated cardboard as a "tool" for texture. Then fun paint. Loved using raw umber gesso for this piece.
