This piece was created as a companion piece to my Organic with Leaves since I strongly prefer doing things in pairs. In person this is a highly textured piece with glass beads interspersed in the deep brown line and the bronze color intentionally �patinaed�. The leaves are a resin material for archival purposes and the entire piece is mounted onto canvas then framed.
The piece won a cash award at the Art in a Pickle Barn Fine Art Show in Skagit County Washington.
You can find Phyllis' work on display year round at the Whatcom Art Market located in Bellingham's historic Fairhaven district at 1314 Twelfth Street, Bellingham, WA (Open daily from 10am to 6pm).
